The Payload is meant to be used with big streamers on heavy line but throwing large or heavy streamers does not compromise accuracy or distance with this rod. Even though it is extremely lightweight, the rod is strong enough for heavy fishing. The engineered design offers unrivaled sensitivity to allow you to throw exactly where you want to, and the fast pick up lets you fish all day without tiring. The storage tube is handy and attractive. The SAGE limited lifetime warranty is a great feature. Overall, the SAGE Payload is a nice, mid-priced fly rod for serious fishermen.
